Plans For The Future

Hey everyone it’s debs again! Sadly, this will probably be my last blog for a while. Today, I am going to talk about my plans for the future.  I am graduating 8th grade in June and I will soon go to high school.  I am planning to do good and have fun in high school because when I am done with high school, I am planning on going to college, than medical school so I can become an Orthopedic Surgeon.

I want to be in this profession because I really enjoy the anatomy of bones in the human body.  I also enjoy very much helping people heal from injuries and not let them suffer of pain.  I think of this job as something fun and very helpful to people overall.  So, this what I want to do in my future and something I am very excited to do.
Thank you guys for reading this blog and I hope enjoy all my blogs from the first one to this one.

DIY Sweet Hibiscus Iced Tea

Hey everybody I’m here with another recipe blog! It’s getting very hot these days and we live in California so it’s always hot. We are going to want to go to the pool a lot and have parties on hot summer days so you need cool drinks for it. Luckily I have such an easy, delicious, homemade, cold, and healthy drink. It’s called sweet hibiscus iced tea.

What you will need is:
2 tablespoon loose organic hibiscus tea
1/2 gallon water
1/4 cup raw honey
large glass pitcher

First, you will have to boil 1/2 gallon of water, then place the loose hibiscus tea in the tea strainer in the glass bowl. After, pour the boiling water over the tea. Then let it steep and cool down for about 20 minutes until it turns warm. You need the tea to be warm enough to dissolve the honey. Remove the tea strainer and pour the honey, stir until dissolved. Lastly, pour the drink in the pitcher and place in fridge until it turns cold, add ice, and enjoy!

DIY Vanilla Sugar Cookie Scrub

Hey everyone! It’s me, debs once again posting another random blog. As you’ve all probably noticed I’m obsessed with DIY’s and Recipes lately. Today, I have another DIY to share with you all. It is a sugar body scrub/face scrub. It is for bathing or showering and very relaxing/soothing after a long day or stressful day. It is also a great gift you can make for someone special and a very thoughtful gift.

What you will need to make the vanilla sugar cookie scrub is:
-2/3 cup brown sugar
-1/3 cup ground oats (grind oats in blender)
-6 tablespoons almond oil
-1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

First, mix all the ingredients all together in a bowl and stir until you get a consistency in the scrub. After, place the scrub in a jar. Once you've done that, you then have to store the jar in a dark, cool place for about 2-3 weeks. You can use this scrub as a face mask or a body scrub. Make sure to add a little warm water when using to feel super soft on skin. That’s it for today, I hoped you enjoyed this DIY!

DIY Lip Scrub

Hey everyone! It’s debs again with another random blog. Today I am going to be showing you guys a really fun, convenient and money saving thing to do. It’s always that type of weather where it chaps our lips and we always have chapped, or dry, or bleeding lips all the time, so we use chapstick to solve it. If you want to make your own chapstick where its soft and great smelling to your liking, then this DIY will be perfect and very fun to make. This DIY is also a very fun thing to do when you're bored or even a good activity to do in a birthday party or when your with your friends.

The ingredients you will need are:
-A tablespoon of brown sugar or white sugar
-A dash of honey (just enough to make the sugar really stick together) or a bit of olive oil/coconut oil
-A teeny tiny little drop of vanilla (it makes it smell yummy, but isn’t necessary.)
-A small container

First, mix a tablespoon of brown sugar or white sugar with just enough honey or olive oil  to get it into a sticky substance. Then you can add in a dash of vanilla for the yummy smell. Once a week, twice at the most rub the lip scrub on your lips and let it sit for 1 minute, then wipe it off with a damp washcloth. This is a great way to take off all the dead skin on your lips and smoothen out your chapped lips into gorgeous flawless lips. I hope you enjoyed this DIY.

Update on leg

Hey everyone! It’s debs again with another random blog! Today I’m going to be talking about how my leg is doing. I am so annoyed to say that it’s not healed yet! I know, I know. I am thankfully off the crutches but still have so much pain when I walk and do nothing throughout everyday. Every person judges me and thinks I’m all better but I’m not. Some people at school pick on me and say that I walk like a zombie or I fake my injury and honestly I am so done caring about what people think about me. Because people, all I’m trying to do is to get better and I’m trying my best to walk well. I hurt my knee as well. I know clumsy Debbie but I have always had a knee problem but it got worse. The doctors stopped me from going to physical therapy and are recommending for me to take it easy in life and not to stress as much and recommend me to take Vitamin D and do aquatic therapy. Apparently I have Vitamin D shortage and I need to raise it up. So I am currently doing those things and hopefully, hopefully I get better soon! I really hope this is the solution to my problem. I have done this for a while already and it’s not affecting me. Anyways, at this point whatever I have to do I will do because I am fed up with this:( I just want to be a normal teenage girl who can do whatever she wants with her friends without being limited or having pain in doing everything. Sorry for talking about my leg. I know it sounds like I’m being negative and all but I’m not, I’m trying to be positive with all that I have left. Thanks for reading my blog! :)

DIY Room Decorating

Hi everyone, its debs. I was thinking about room decor and a thought occurred to me. Room decor is so expensive. One pillow is like ten dollars. I think you could make your own room decor and it's so easy.

You can make a picture wall. Not only is it decor, it is special to you and memorable. You can take pictures from online or even get pictures of you/your friends. You can print them on cute Polaroid paper. Tape it on your wall and it will look so cute. Then when you walk past that wall you can look at every photo. Then you can be reminded of the good memories.

The next thing is just accessorizing random things. For example, you could totally get some washi tape and decorate your light switch. Washi tape is decorating tape. It will put a cool effect and make you feel good. Just sparkling up a little thing in your room could make a big difference. People can come over and actually compliment you. Just don't tell them how you did it.(It will be our little secret.) I hope you enjoyed this blog! :)

DIY (do it yourself) Sunglasses

Hey everyone it's debs here again. Today I wanted to do another DIY. This one is super easy, its DIY sunglasses. Many sunglasses are plain and expensive. You could just get a plain random pair of sunglasses and customize it to your liking. The other thing that I like about making my own sunglasses is that sometimes you can buy a good protection sunglasses shades for the eyes but it doesn't look decorative. So you can buy a regular sunglasses that has good protection shades for your eyes and save money by decorating it yourself instead of buying an expensive decorated one that's not even your favorite.

Materials:
Sun glasses
Markers (optional)
Glue
Decoration (optional)

Procedure:
Get your sunglasses and plan out what you are going to do. This is very self-explanatory. All you do is glue or draw anything you want to the sunglasses. What I love about this DIY is that you have control over what you want on the sunglasses. You could get a pair of sunglasses you really like and make them personalized to your choice. This also makes a great time passer and a fun thing to do with friends. They also make really great gifts because they are so fun and easy. All you do is glue or draw anything you want to glasses. That's all for this blog, I hoped you enjoyed!

Everyday Life Hacks

Hey everyone it's debs here. Today I will do another life hacks blog because I enjoy doing them.

The first life hack is a free water proof protection for phones. Well it's not really protection but better than nothing. All you need is your device and a zip lock bag. Surprisingly, you could use a zip lock bag in the pool. The zip lock bag is water proof and you could still use your device while you’re in the pool. So cool right?

If you don't want your money to get stolen when your somewhere or at the beach etc., than just put the money in a  chapstick container. A robber will be more interested getting your wallet than a used chapstick right? ;)

You could use a toilet paper role to keep your wrapping paper up straight. Just cut a slit in the toilet paper role and wrap it around the wrapping paper. This tip is very time consuming when you need to go to a party and don't know how to wrap a gift nicely without making it look ugly.

That's all for today :) #usetheselifehacks

Nutella Frappe Homemade Recipe

Hey everyone it's me debs, as I said before, I have been enjoying making DIY blogs. Today I will be showing you how to make another Starbucks drink. I like it because it's one of Starbucks's secret recipe menus and you could make it however you like it. This drink is very tasty and you can make it according to how your taste buds like it.

Ingredients:
If you're ordering this drink (order a normal coffee frappe) or if you're making this I'm pretty sure you could just use coffee
2 pumps of mocha syrup
1 pump of hazelnut syrup
When you get it combined, blend it with whip cream. You could top it off with whip cream and caramel.

The thing I like is that you're in control when you're making this. If you don't like one of the ingredients or can't get the ingredients you can always substitute it with something else. You could also control what you ask the Starbucks worker to make it with. Have fun making this or ordering it.

That's it for today's blog. I really like this drink and I hope you like it too.

Caramel Macchiato Recipe

Hey everyone it's debs here. I have been having so much fun doing DIY's. Today I wanted to show you my recipe for a Caramel Macchiato. This is a really tasty drink that is from Starbucks. I love this recipe because it's low on sugar/calories and has coffee which is my favorite. The thing that I love about this is that when you have all the ingredients you could make this a lot more often, and it's way cheaper that going to Starbucks all the time and it saves time so ever time your craving it and don't want to drive, then you can just make it yourself at home and make it healthier.

You will need:
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon of vanilla syrup
1 cup of milk (cold)
1 cup of ice
2 shots of espresso (80 ml)
Caramel (as much as you want you could put in the cup after you make the drink)

Procedure:
Add all of the liquids like milk, vanilla syrup, and coffee. Mix all of it up and add the ice. Add as much caramel as you need in the drink to complete it and make it spectacular. I use sugar free caramel to use less sugar and it works just fine and tastes the same as sugary caramel.

The thing I love about this recipe is that you have the control to put what you want in it and how much you want in it. If you want to be extra healthy you could substitute the milk for a healthier alternative.

That's it for today everyone! I hope you enjoy this drink as much as I do! :)

Physical Therapy Journey

Hi everybody. It's me again with another random blog. Today I will be talking about my physical therapy sessions that I have to go to twice a week for 6 weeks. I have had my injury for about 5 months now and I have done series of injections, MRI's, X-rays, and the most craziest tests you could ever think of. I have gone through a lot of severe pain and I'm still handling it. After all the tests, nothing bad showed thank goodness and I'm healthy but I still have horrible pain that doesn't go away. I have gone to 6 different doctors and they have all said the same thing which is physical therapy and rest. The doctor that I'm going to now suggests 6 weeks of physical therapy twice a week then to go and see him and see what happens. Hopefully, I get better by then so I could get back on my feet after a long time. Physical therapy is very very very painful but hopefully good outcomes come around with all the pain. To all those people out there who is injured and is reading this, I feel you and I hope you get better soon. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed my blog!

Food Decorating

Hey everyone it's debs again with another food blog. Today I wanted to talk about how to eat normal foods the fun way.

Like a cupcake. A cupcake could get messy and boring just eating it like a plain cupcake. Instead make it into a sandwich. Get the frosting and put it in the middle of the bread part. It's more fun to eat and yummier. ;)

Instead of eating ice cream in a bowl, eat it in squares. Just get your carton and cut squares with your knife. It's a lot more fun to eat it that way.

Make fruit fun by cutting images in it. You could get a special fruit cutter or you could just use a cookie cutter. Again, it just makes eating fruit more fun.

You could make sandwiches more fun for little kids. You cut them out into shapes. They will have fun while eating. A win, win for the both of you because you now know that they will eat their food and that they will enjoy it without complaining.

Make a fun and healthy cake. Instead of having a fake sugar have real sugar. Get a watermelon and cover it with cool whip. It tastes awesome and looks awesome. This will definitely steal the show in a party and saves money because you can decorate food by yourself for a party instead of buying from the store like Edible Arrangements. This is all about being healthy.

That's it for my blog today.

Life Hacks For Food

Hey everyone it's me debs here with another blog. Today I will be typing more life hacks. Today this is food edition, cause everyone likes food, right? Who doesn't like food.

The first life hack is about eggs. If you don't know if your eggs are hard boiled or not. All you do is spin them, raw eggs don't spin easy, but boiled eggs do.

You don't want to eat raw eggs right? So all you do is put them to the test. Fresh eggs don't float, but boiled eggs do.

Everyone loves pancakes, but what's better than designed pancakes? You could use cookie cutters to make some really cool pancakes. They will definitely steal the show. This is a good idea if you want to make a special breakfast for someone even more special and cute/creative. :)

For my last food hack I'm going to be talking about salads. Salads are good but how do you take it with you without it getting soggy. A jar of course!! Put your dressing at the bottom and put whatever you need. Put your lettuce/base on the top. When it's lunch time shake it up and there you go, a salad that's perfect and fresh like you just made it.
That's it for today, I hope you enjoyed my blog!

DIY (do it yourself) Phone Cases

Hey everyone, it's me again :). To kick off my blog I wanted to do another DIY(do it yourself). What I love about DIY's, is that they are really easy, creative, and fun to make. Today I will be teaching you how to make easy phone cases.

Materials:
Clear phone case (use colored cases to make it more fun)
Stencils (optional)
Markers (optional)
Paper (optional)

Procedure:
First, get your phone case and decide what you want to make. Some ideas are to get a paper, draw on it, and put it inside your phone case. To do that, outline the shape of your phone. Then put your creativity to test and draw. You could also get creative and draw on the phone case. This is also a good idea because you save money on buying cases and it is a waste, why would you buy an expensive case instead of buying a cheap clear case and making it yourself with your own design/taste.

They make great gifts and are great ideas to do if you're bored. I highly recommend this because it's really fun and really easy to do!! It's perfect, smart, and unique.

DIY (do it yourself) Mugs

Hey everyone it's me again with another blog. Today I decided to make an easy DIY. To Kick off the new year I decided to make some really easy and fun personalised mugs.

Materials:
Stencils (optional)
Sharpie (use different colors for personalised touch)
A mug

Procedure:
To make sure the sharpie stays on we have to bake it. So first start off with pre-heating your oven to 350 degrees F. You then get to have fun by decorating your cup. When your oven is done pre-heating, bake your cup for 30 minutes. If you don't have time to buy a mug then you can just use one that you already have and spice it up. Some cute ideas are drawing your favorite prints and just making it cute.

For better results you should use oil free sharpies and let your cup dry for a few hours.
These cups make great gifts or decoration! Also this is a great idea to do as a fun activity for a birthday party. Have fun :)

Hanging Out With My Friends After School

Hey everyone it's me again with another random blog, sorry I didn't blog in a while. Today I will be talking about how I went after school to hang out with my friends. We first started off by walking there or should I say crutching. As you know I injured myself and I'm still not better but I'm hanging in there! Getting there was hard but I managed to crutch there. My friends and I started off by going to Chipotle to eat some food. We laughed at jokes and talked about all the random stuff you could think of. We then went to the store called Tj Max. It was really fun because we got to try on funny clothes and take random things. The lady at the fitting rooms was really rude and she was just giving us attitude.

I then went to my best friends house, to hang out and wait till my dad comes. I had a really fun time and glad I got to go. That's it for today thanks for reading my blog!
