Hi everybody! It's me debs with another blog. Today I'm going to be talking about Black Friday and how I shopped so much. I woke up very early and very excited to go Black Friday shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I was very excited to shop but I knew that it would be difficult for me to get around because of my crutches. I didn't let that stop me from having a good time and go on a shopping spree. Although I bought a lot of things I felt bad because my parents were with me the whole time helping me and making sure I was feeling okay. I wanted them to also shop and not worry about me the whole time even though they did. The mall I went to was Fashion Square and it surprisingly wasn't packed at all. I went to a few different stores such as Forever 21, Qrew, H and M, Pink, and many more. I bought a lot of clothes, shoes, and many more. Overall, I had fun going shopping with my parents and I didn't let my crutches and injury get in the way of having fun. I hope you enjoyed this blog and have a happy holidays.

My cousin's Bat Mitzvah
Hi everybody! Its debs with another blog. Today I'm going to be talking about my cousin's Bat Mitzvah. As you know, my hip is injured so I'm on crutches. So, I had to go to the party with crutches. When I went, I sat down the whole time, but my parents helped me the whole time by getting me food and spending time with me. I was a little tired of using my crutches going everywhere but I had a positive attitude during the party. While everybody was dancing, I obviously couldn't dance so my mom took me to the hena place that was downstairs. It was so hard because I went down a whole bunch of stairs with crutches. It took me about 10 minutes to get down safely and my helpful mom was so patient the whole time. Overall, it was a very nice party and looked fun, but I really didn't enjoy it because of my injury. I hope I will get better soon and enjoy other parties to come and dance/party without pain. I hope you enjoyed my blog today.

Acai Bowl Recipe
Hi everybody it's me again with another random blog! Today I'm going to be talking about my recipe on how to make an acai bowl. An acai bowl is a very healthy meal that is very nutritious. I love acai bowls because they are so delicious and very healthy. Acai are berries that come in packages. You mix the acai pack with other ingredients to make the best acai bowl in town. ( in my opinion) I'm going to be sharing my recipe that I love so much.
First what you will need is:
1 frozen unsweetened acai puree package
1 banana
5-6 strawberries
1 medjool date
1/4 cup milk
What you do is put the acai package in the blender with your banana, strawberries, 1 medjool date, and your milk. You blend and blend until it becomes like a smoothie. You want to make sure you don't blend too much that it becomes liquidy because it doesn't taste good like that. After you do this, you pour it into a bowl and put whatever toppings you want on it and enjoy it. I love putting granolas on top of it as well as fruits. The thing I love about this recipe is that it is all natural sweet and no extract sugar added into it, also it is so easy to make it to your preferred choice. Well, I hope you love this recipe as much as I do.

Dress Shopping With My Momma
Hey everybody it's me again with another random blog! Today, I'm going to be talking about the day off I had from school on Wednesday because of Veteran's Day. So, my uncle's wedding is in a month and I haven't gone dress shopping yet. Yikes, it's getting closer very fast. As you guys know, I injured my hip a few months ago and I'm on crutches right now. I still haven't healed or gotten any better but I hopefully will soon. So, my mom and I decided to go dress shopping that day together and spend the day together as mother and daughter bonding. We went to the Glendale mall and it was a little tiring and frustrating for me because my crutches were killing my legs and arms, and my mom kept stopping every second so she wouldn't trip. I was laughing so much because of the way she would go around me. We went to about 3 stores and it sucked all of our energy out because of my pain I was having and complaining because it was uncomfortable. I am a very picky person when it comes to dress shopping, but thank goodness I found something that caught my eye and we had to order it online in the store because they didn't have the color I wanted. So, after we were finished we went to go in the car and leave but my loving mother forgot where she parked the car. I got so overwhelmed because I didn't have anywhere to sit in the parking structure and I needed to sit down somewhere. My mom was looking for the car for about 45 minutes because she parked it in a parking structure and it is very confusing in Glendale since there are a million parking structures for the mall. Finally, after being very tired and anxious we found the car when it was just underneath the level we were searching at. It was a very fun and hectic day, but I'm glad I finally found a dress since I'm not a flexible person when it comes to dresses.

Halloween
Hi everybody! It's me again with another blog! Today I will be going to talk about Friday, the day before Halloween. The day before Friday I had to get 2 MRI's and a few injections because I injured my hip 3 months ago. Thank goodness everything was shown healthy but I had to rest it until it gets better. I had to use crutches, so on Friday I came to school with crutches because I couldn't walk. I wasn't in the mood at all to come to school because I went through so much pain the day before and I was on pain medication so I couldn't eat and I felt like to faint. There was a glow in the dark dance for 8th graders and I went because my friends wanted me to go. It was very fun but not for me because I couldn't dance or do anything since I was in pain and had to sit down the whole time. I was there for about 2 hours and I didn't eat the whole day so I had to eat or else I would have fainted. So, my friend and I went to Chipotle to get food and I ate because she forced me. The day after which was Halloween, I rested the whole day and at night I went to a family friend's house with my parents. I still was out of it because of the other day but I tried to have fun. Overall, my Halloween this year wasn't the best but at least I'm healthy and I will definitely make next years Halloween the best to make up for this years.

Halloween Volunteering
Hey everybody! It's debs again with another blog! Today I'm going to be talking about what I did on Sunday. At 11:00 in the morning I went to my friend's house so we could go to this Halloween volunteering event at an elementary school. It was an event where little kids come and play at booths and go in jumpy houses. They had to either have tickets or a stamp to play. My friend and I volunteered so we got 4 hours of community service after. We helped a lot and gave out a lot of candy to the kids while the other people gave one candy to each kid. The kids there were so cute, I wanted to eat them up. After a little bit, we wanted candy for ourselves so we went to a room where all the candy was and took a lot because we deserved some after helping so much. After about 3 hours of watching the booths and helping, we went in the jumpy houses and played there like little kids. There was this adorable kid and she kept climbing up and we played with her and made sure she didn't get hurt because she was 3 years old. We then ate a hotdog, made cookies, and had candy. We were really tired at the end but we had a lot of fun. Well, that's it for today's blog.

Going Out With My Friends
Hi everybody! It's me again with another random blog. Today I'm going to talk about when I went out with my friends last Friday because we got out of school early and we wanted to hang out with each other. We got out of school and we started to walk to Starbucks. My best friend and I went to Whole Foods together to try samples and then we went back to Starbucks so I can eat my chicken salad and she can eat chips and a Caramael Mochioto. After that we all went to Mac. I wanted to look at tweezers but the lady got mad at me and said you need to be with an adult because they thought we were trouble makers. We couldn't blame them because kids go there just to mess around but I wasn't. Anyways that was a bust, so we went to TJ Max and saw their purses. The lady saw me touching the purses and thought as well that I was messing everything up even though I wasn't. She asked me "what are you doing?" and I said "I'm looking at purses for my mom" (which I was). The lady kept looking at me and looked suspicious. We went to look around the store until they called security and kicked us out for no reason. Apparently "we were too loud." Ughh all these store employees under estimate the kids from school. Any kid that walks in with a backpack and friends, they think they are trouble but were not. After that, I went home, watched Netflix and relaxed. I think that people in life should sometimes laugh, have fun, take a breath, and do things they never done before to have fun. Life isn't all about working and being under pressure, its about having fun and being silly too. Well folks, that's it for today's random blog.

My 2012 Israel Vacation
Hi everybody! It's me again with another random blog. Today I will be talking about the first time that I went to Israel for a vacation. It was in 2012 and my family and I decided to go to Israel and take a tour for 2 weeks. It was my first time going there and I didn't know what to expect. We eat kosher and we're Jewish so it was even better because they had a lot of kosher food. The plane ride was about 18 hours and when we got there it took about a day to get adjusted with the time since it's 10 hours ahead of California. We went on a tour with 15 other Jewish Persian people and we became family friends with them all. The best thing about Israel is that all of their jewelry and clothing are way less expensive than the U.S. We took advantage of that and we bought so many souvenirs like jewelry, clothes, shoes, purses, and a lot more. The thing that my family and I enjoyed the most was all the food. We enjoyed it because we didn't have to worry about the meat being kosher. Israel has a lot more kosher restaurants than Los Angeles. I learned new things and explored a lot because Israel is very different from America. The thing we went there the most for was to celebrate my brothers Bar Mitzvah there. He was 15 years old but ever since he was little my mom wanted to do a little celebration there too. We went to the holy wall and celebrated a little for that event. I'm glad we went because we had a break from the real world, we explored, and met a lot of new people. The only thing that sucked about it was that we had to come back and we would be very jet lagged. It took about a week to get used to our own time and I missed Israel a lot. I knew that if I didn't go back home I would be really home sick and miss my friends.

My Piano Journey
Hi everybody! It's me again with another blog. Today I'm going to be talking about my piano experience. I have been playing piano for 6 years and enjoyed every second of it and I still am enjoying it. Every year my teacher advances me to a more challenging level and right now I'm at a really high level meaning like doing a lot of songs that are not that easy. Every year she has a recital for all of her students and we perform 2-3 of our songs that we did along the year. After everybody finishes performing, we all get a trophy for our hard work for that year. I have 5 trophies now and I'm going to get my 6th one next year. I really love playing the piano anytime because it relaxes me and it's my passion for life. Whatever emotion I feel, piano is the key to my happiness. The first time I started playing piano was when I was 8 years old and I went to go pick up my sister from her piano class. She played when she was younger too and she is still playing to this day. My mom and I went to go pick her up and I decided to try it out and see if I like it. It turned out that I really enjoyed it and I took lessons for a really long time. Ever since I took my first lesson when I was 8 years old, I never took a break or gave up and I'm not planning to do that in the future.

Fasting on Yom Kippur
Hi everybody! It's me again with another random blog. Today, I'm going to talk about my 2nd experience fasting for a Jewish Holiday, Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur is a holiday for Jewish people to start fasting when a girl or boy becomes Bat or Bar Mitzvah age. It started on Tuesday at 6:33 pm and lasted until 7:45 pm on Wednesday night. It is a tough holiday because you can't eat, drink, use fire or use electricity, or even write. It was extra hard because we couldn't use our phones, watch tv or even turn on and off the lights. I was keeping it together but in the middle of the fast I got really thirsty, but I was thinking of the positive things like its once a year and I can spend time with my family. My family and I were at temple at night on Tuesday and we were there the whole day on Wednesday. I was starting to get a headache, stomach ache, and I felt extremely nauseous. The worst thing about the fast was that it was extremely hot and we had to walk to the temple but it was about 5-10 minutes away from our house. I kept getting tired and not feeling well so I went home a few times but I prayed a lot in the temple and played with a lot of little kids that were there too. When the fast was over, I drank a whole bottle of water and rushed home to brush my teeth so I can eat.We ordered pizza and when I ate my second slice, I was about to throw up and had a horrible stomach ache because of the fast. I stopped eating and drank tea. The day after it was so hard for me to go to school because I went with a horrible stomach ache. When you fast for 25 hours, you should recover the next day because your whole immune system gets messed up. Overall it was an okay fast and eventually, I got better and I'm looking forward to next year's fast. (not really, haha) That's it for today everybody thanks for reading my blog!

My Skating Experience
Hi everybody! I'm back with another one of my random thoughts blogs. Today, I'm going to be talking about my experiment with roller skating in the past. It all started when my mom found this place called Skateland when she was driving around the area it was located. She went inside and saw that it was a roller skating rink. She came home then told me to try it out as a fun activity so I can get busy. I tried a few open sessions then got a personal coach for about 5 months. After I got really good at it and started skating extremely fast and not falling, my coach told me to join their team and be apart of it. I obviously said yes but didn't think of how much work and stress it would be. If I was going to be on the team I would have to go and practice about 4 times a week and go on the weekends very early in the morning like at 6 am. I was excited to meet new people and make new friends. After 3 months of warming up with the team, my personal coach started teaching me how to go backwards and do jumps, spinning, and do all these tough things. Everyday I would go home really late with a bunch of bruises on my legs. When I got really professional, I went to all these competitions at different skating rinks and would compete with other people. When I got medals, I got so happy but when I got last place or didn't place at all, I would be devastated. It was a tough sport because I had to always buy dresses and make sure I had good, comfortable skates. It got to the point after 2 years, when I was in 6th grade and I stopped because I got a lot of homework and didn't have time for it at all. I was so sad that I had to quit, but I was thinking to myself that I'm not going to quit, I'm still going to go sometimes for the open sessions and just skate around and have fun. I didn't want to be involved with all the stress that being on the team gave me. Now, I go sometimes and have fun without being so stressed out about it. So, that's the story of my skating experience.

The Big Move
Hi everybody! Welcome to my blog page where I talk about random thoughts that I have. Today I will be talking about the process of moving to a new house and how stressful and difficult it is. On May 2015 my family and I were ready to move into a new house. Every weekend we would go to open houses and everyday we would look for houses on Zillow. One day my mom was looking and she saw this beautiful house. We all judged it before we even went to see it but when my parents, brother, sister, and I went with a broker inside, we fell in love. It was in such a good area for a really reasonable price that a lot of people wanted to buy it. We were so excited and keeping our hopes up if the owner would let us put an offer and accept it. We were waiting for 2 weeks and finally the owner called the broker and gave problems to us but my parents were fighting for it and putting a higher offer until he said okay. We were ready to celebrate but we had to wait for the banks approval and get the key to the house. After a month of waiting and being anxious, it all got finalized and we were ready to move in. When we started to move everything, it was so messy because there were boxes everywhere and it was so overwhelming. I was really excited but I didn't think of how hard it would be to just move out of the house I was born and raised in. I thought after 18 years of having that house it was time to move and I was staying positive by remembering all the good memories I had in that house. We were ready to buy new beds, couches, paintings, and just make it our dream house. After a month we settled in and starting to enjoy the house with everything we loved in it. I was glad to move and start a new chapter in my life with my family. Over the summer all I did was enjoy and get used to the new house. After this long journey I learned that It's okay to move on and to keep the good memories of something you loved with all your heart. Well everybody, that's the story of how I moved to a new house in the year of 2015.
